Question for whoever isn't bored out of their bodies by this place. What kind of things do you do to not be bored? I mean, do you go to hang out at any place in specific or something? Specially when going with someone, assuming you don't spend every time just in each others' houses.
I assume dinner out is a good idea but I'm pretty sure there has to be something else to do in this prison.
[Yes, this is a request for ideas for a date. Hopefully he has worded it in a subtle enough way that no one will notice it. Bwahaha, behold his master plan.]
Don't bother suggesting the library, that one doesn't count.

Rin,
Sorry for not answering your last letter in such a long time. I've spent most of the last month doing missions in an attempt to not drive myself nuts. Anyway I have a question for you: with whom does one have to talk to make a reservation or something where you work?

Did you go to sleep already, Kotomi-chan?

Did you go to sleep already, Kotomi-chan?

Sure, why not? Give her the presents and take her out on the town! Hmm... I need to think up something exciting to do.
no subject
To take her out on the town was also an idea I already had. What I don't know is where to take her, unless walking in circles around the village counts.

[Kotomi... Demand something? Unless you count as demanding her getting all wibbling and what not, he's pretty sure she's unable to do that.]
She's content with very simple and silly things. Which is why it's difficult to think of something different to do.
no subject
Oh.
Hm.
Battler acts like a moron most of the time, but he's actually rather perceptive when he wants to be. He's figured out who it is but- might as well just keep trying to help him.]
Hm, this is actually pretty tough, yeah. But you know, I guess it really doesn't matter what you do- she'd be happy to just be around you, right? You don't need to do anything fancy, I bet just a walk with her and giving her presents is enough.
no subject
Ikki snorts lightly.]
I guess a walk is better than other options.
[Like hugging and spending several hours like that.]
It's amusing, though, I've heard people say that this place isn't "as boring and bad" as I make it be, but so far no one has been able to suggest anything to do besides reading, stargazing or walk around. Maybe she's not the only one entertained with simple things after all.

W...well.... I'm the type that likes to party after all. I haven't had a good drink in forever~! [he's not even old enough but he does it anyways!!] So I don't really know what to suggest to other people... it's been forever since I was even able to do anything like go stargazing without having to worry about a witch at my back.
I guess I like the little things now, yeah.
no subject
[Who cares about being old enough, those rules don't apply here.]
Hn. Did you ever had time for those little things before that witch started bothering you? Or has that been going on for your whole life?
no subject
Of course I did.... I was pretty free to do what I wanted, I come from a rich family and everything- but I had left my family for about six years. I got into an argument with my father after all. Only recently I had come back and then I was... thrown into a game with witches...
no subject
That explains it, you actually know how to enjoy those things even if you didn't do it before... Sounds like you shouldn't have bothered with returning to your family too.
[That's all he's going to comment on that matter though, he's not the type to pry by himself.]
no subject
I couldn't stand seeing him so pathetic, so I gave him another chance.
no subject
[You're too forgiving, man.]
no subject
no subject
[Ikki snorts.]
Whatever. But looking back you really shouldn't have forgiven him, it sounds as if it would have saved you many problems.
no subject
I made my choice though, I wanted to forgive him- I wanted to come back to the family. I had been away for six years and I had no where else to go, I gave them another chance.
Don't get me wrong, I love them all, but sometimes my dad is just... he's a pain in the ass.
no subject
[No, he doesn't see the issue of still hating or not forgiving your father's guts yet be civil and such with the rest of your family.]
From the way you talk it's as if he's the only one who wronged you anyway. Unless the rest of the family defended his actions I don't see how you could get angry with them as a whole.

At least he had the decency of marrying. Could have been worse.
[His tone is sarcastic, though, as if he doubts it really counts as a comfort or a "it's not that bad".]
And you decided to give him another chance just because he looked pathetic for... What, a few minutes?
