5th Rise of the Phoenix ஜ Voice/Action Backdated to Monday's morning
[During the past two weeks, Smoker, resident of Community Building 1, room 27, got some company in the form of a small kid named Ikki. Said kid though, is now again his proper age and though he intentionally slacked on saying much during the past day once he woke up as his normal self, Ikki supposes that it's about time to... He doesn't know, but probably some thanks are in order, as well as getting his ass out of Smoker's place. He's not really sure where the other man is, mostly because Ikki himself has yet to exit the room he got while he was here, so he'll use the journal for a check-in. That's exactly for what it serves, right?]
Smoker, you around?
[There, no filter, because Giles didn't get to teach him that, which is logical as he was a frigging kid, and Ikki isn't really the kind to look for that unless it's heavily important.]
Exactly, how many people got the chance to revisit their kid years during the experiment?
[Just plain curiosity... And that he wants to know how many of the kids he met while he was one are now adults in size.
Later in the day Ikki will be wandering around the village, checking shops and looking at everyone that crosses paths with him. No intense stares or anything, just a normal casual glance which may become firmer if the face is familiar to him. For most this doesn't mean much, but until today Ikki hadn't really paid much attention to what was going on in the village unless it was under attack or there was some kind of emergency or danger. It's also the first time he's walking around without his Pandora box.
Sooner or later, he'll end at the bar once again, drinking yesterday wasn't enough for him apparently.]

[He can't help but make a face at that. Not of disgust but more of 'what have I lost there?' or 'what use does that have?'... Here's a guy who has never gone to school, unless being trained to be a Saint counts.]
I'm not much of a reader thought. I read but rarely.
[He barely paid attention to the journal because... Well, it was just a book and whatever.]
The battle dome is an interesting option but to fight constantly I would prefer to be back home. At least there it served for something.
no subject
It serves to keep your skills sharp here.
no subject
I already did that before the battle dome was built, but I suppose it's worth to check it. What about you?
no subject
I've been training with a friend under the guidance of a man named Arumat. The battle dome is a big simulator so you can any kind of environment you want.

[Ikki shrugs.]
Sad or not, someone has to do it. And it can be said I was born for it.
[Whether he liked it or not.]
Any kind of environment? Even the deepest levels of hell?
[He shouldn't be so amused by the idea.]

[Selphie's head tilts to the left.]
Sounds like destiny to me.
I think so? I've really only used areas that I know from home. I usually use the Fire Cavern from home.
no subject
[He has done fine without them himself so far, so he doubts it.]
Probably it was. But it still was forced on us, if it really was destiny we would have ended there without being forced to, don't you think?
Fire Cavern? Sounds like a volcano to me, you like those?
no subject
That sounds about the same as what happened to my friends and I actually.
I'm pretty sure it's in one and it's really hot inside. Do you like training in hotter environments or colder ones?
no subject
[Not to mention that they had visual aid with Shaka's rosary.]
The same? What did they do to you exactly?
[Ikki smirks smugly at the question.]
I don't really mind, but as a Phoenix I have preference for volcanoes and hot environments like that. Cold and ice would be for another guy I know.
no subject
The Fire Cavern is definitely hot and there's lot of lava.

[He assumes that they fought, but what he refers to is if they were able to defeat her, it's a different thing after all. He sounds neutral, the idea of fighting against a person who raised him isn't something he's problems with. He had to kill his sensei, he has more than enough hate to actually enjoy beating the shit out of Tatsumi or Mitsumasa Kido if he could ever get the chance, he barely remembers his mother and he's not the same as Hyoga regarding her. And he has already showed that he can and will hurt his brother if he has to, even if it's not an illusion, though at the end he failed to be able to actually kill him and instead tried to free him from Hades' control.]
Sounds like a place I would like, definitively. Would you show it to me?
no subject
[Sound familiar yet?]
Sure!
no subject
So now she's free of that control? What happened to the one who had enslaved her? Did you find out who it was?
no subject
no subject
I like that ending. Deserved nothing better if you ask me.
[And he wasn't even involved directly. Then again Ikki may not be the best person to ask to as he's not shy to use his fists.]
no subject
[Selphie grins sheepishly afterwards.] Slept for a week after that too.

[He wouldn't call that 'screw up a world' thought. He chuckles again at the last part.]
Why am I not surprised? It probably was exhausting at any rate so no one can blame you for it.
no subject
Exhausting it one way to put it.
no subject
[Okay, maybe 'screw up the world' does fit with what that woman aimed to do, if that time compression thing is as it sounds and he imagines.]
So everything is fine again at your world?
