[Yes, he fails at filters.]

General question for all of you. What would you-...

[No, that's not a good idea. He doesn't need that, she has told him several times, right? She likes books, which means a book is probably the best gift, he doesn't need to ask what to give her. A book will do. She also liked the plushies he gave her before so there's that, maybe he can get a teddy bear for her on top of it, since if she loves books that much she probably has read a lot of them.

Then again, maybe that only applies to the ones in her world, and there are way too many books in the world to read them all anyway. Yes, that sounds like a good question. He clears his throat a bit.]

Book recommendations. Anyone knows of interesting books to read? Novels, tales, science, any theme will do.

[She probably will enjoy it either way so... Should he ask that it won't be too complicated? No, even if she reads them to him as well he can ask if he doesn't get something. It's a gift just for her after all.]

Powerful, wise, well spoken. She tried to do all she could when asked for assistance with things. A very good fight of course, for a warrior goddess. She was...ah very nice company, really. You never felt below or beneath her like some gods would like to project upon their guests.

You've met her as well in your world? Fascinating. Your world isn't Earth, is it?

[ He smiles on his end. ] And as for the books I'll look up some for you and you can stop by whenever and ask for them, hm? Or simply ask for me...

[ A pause. ] Oh! My apologies. I-I don't believe I gave you my name. It's Helios Sprensonne.
folklorist: (Ever so curious)

Phoneix Ikki, then. It's a pleasure talking to you. As for Earth being less fascinating, I don't that at all! Multiple Earths is just as fascinating as an entirely different world, since that's what it is when you think about it.

Is your Athena...a goddess or, or something else? The personality shifts isn't uncommon. I somewhat expected ours two goddesses to differ that. The gods of my world take on human forms to conceal themselves though.

folklorist: (A rather interesting thought)

I see, I see. The gods in my own world do similar things. Like, hm, for example in the epic The Ramayana. The god Vishnu takes an avatar called Rama to kill the demon king of Lanka named Ravana. He's...much like a prince, really, and susceptible to all the human emotions that we are. He's the epitome of virtue and yet in the story love fuels most of his actions.

[ He pauses. ]

They don't possess people in, in my world. They simply just create an outer exterior for themselves to fit into society more. [ But then again you have things like Apep which happen. ] What other gods do you have then inhabiting yours?

You have a quite a few then, interesting. The p-personalities though are a bit different. But I wouldn't expect anything less from different versions of the same world or entirely new worlds altogether. [ Destroy it. It's all so strange to hear that deities would do that. Unlike his world where they must live on Earth because they can't return back to their own plane of existence. Destroying the one and only home that they have would obviously be very wrong. And other gods could just remake it all over again. ]

Sealing a god takes immense power. I've only heard of other gods being able to do so.
