[Yes, he fails at filters.]
General question for all of you. What would you-...
[No, that's not a good idea. He doesn't need that, she has told him several times, right? She likes books, which means a book is probably the best gift, he doesn't need to ask what to give her. A book will do. She also liked the plushies he gave her before so there's that, maybe he can get a teddy bear for her on top of it, since if she loves books that much she probably has read a lot of them.
Then again, maybe that only applies to the ones in her world, and there are way too many books in the world to read them all anyway. Yes, that sounds like a good question. He clears his throat a bit.]
Book recommendations. Anyone knows of interesting books to read? Novels, tales, science, any theme will do.
[She probably will enjoy it either way so... Should he ask that it won't be too complicated? No, even if she reads them to him as well he can ask if he doesn't get something. It's a gift just for her after all.]

You've met her as well in your world? Fascinating. Your world isn't Earth, is it?
[ He smiles on his end. ] And as for the books I'll look up some for you and you can stop by whenever and ask for them, hm? Or simply ask for me...
[ A pause. ] Oh! My apologies. I-I don't believe I gave you my name. It's Helios Sprensonne.
[voice.]
It's Earth, yes. I suppose that makes it less fascinating. The Athena I know sounds similar to the one you met, but not exactly the same. I wouldn't call her "wise" or a nice company, but there were worse companies indeed.
[Ikki chuckles lightly.]
Having a name will help to ask for you. I'm Phoenix Ikki, I'll make sure to drop by the library to check on those.
[voice.]
Is your Athena...a goddess or, or something else? The personality shifts isn't uncommon. I somewhat expected ours two goddesses to differ that. The gods of my world take on human forms to conceal themselves though.
[voice.]
[Harsh words, but Ikki was never a fan of Saori anyway.]
The gods of my world like to take human vessels to use for their own means. The only one who does it in a way that's more acceptable is Athena who takes one the moment the child is born rather than posses people when she sees fit.
[voice.]
[ He pauses. ]
They don't possess people in, in my world. They simply just create an outer exterior for themselves to fit into society more. [ But then again you have things like Apep which happen. ] What other gods do you have then inhabiting yours?
[voice.]
What other deities we have? Besides all the Greek ones I know of Odin and Buddha at least as being around. But most of them have left the Earth alone and mind their own business. Until they decide that they have had enough of humans and return to destroy it all. I think that the only ones who actually bother to stay around are Athena and Buddha. And Hades and Poseidon, but that's because they were sealed, though now that Hades is dead it's just Poseidon in the "sealed deities" club.
[voice.]
Sealing a god takes immense power. I've only heard of other gods being able to do so.
[voice.]
[Because with very few exceptions... And he's mostly thinking of Buddha and Odin because even with Athena he has issues, they really aren't beings he considers worthy of all that power and such.]
It does, that's why it was Athena who did the sealing. We only took care of beating them hard enough to make it easier. Though with Hades we didn't bother with a seal anymore.
