1st Rise of the Phoenix ஜ Action

[Ikki is walking through the village with relative calm, he's not pleased and it's obvious in his body language that he's stressed and annoyed. Who wouldn't be, having found himself in an unknown place, a place where he didn't intend to be?

The fact that no matter how much he expanded his Cosmos, he couldn't find his brothers' Cosmos or the Cosmos of anyone he knew didn't help in the situation. Still, he looks quite sure of where he's going, even if he's not, and only the loose-fitting white cotton pants he's wearing point out that he's new in the place.

Those particularly sensible to spiritual energy may notice his strong Cosmos -full of contained anger and hate, directed to no one but obviously there- constantly reaching out and basically checking everyone he can reach. Searching for something, or someone, that would explain him being stuck in that place. Unable to return to where he intended to go or contact his friends, so far he's not having any luck and the idea he's starting to get doesn't please him.]

[Does this fine young princess count for a valid explanation? Because on seeing a guy shirtless like this ~~s-so manly...~~ is a clear indication of something to talk to them about. Either way, she waves and bounces her way over the new guy] Hello!

[Bouncing people are normally the kind Ikki would avoid, but not knowing anything of where he is and being unable to find it out on his own puts him in a situation of not being able to be picky.]

Hello. Can you tell me what's this place?

Hi. You must be new here.

[Ikki looks at her warily, even if there's nothing in her that poses a threat he's not someone to drop his guard even when with his own brother that easily.]

How would you know that?

[It doesn't seem like a tremendous place but he's quite certain it's big enough to guarantee that it's difficult to know everyone in the place. And he's sure he's not carrying a sign saying "new" either.]

[The white, cotton pants were sign enough that he was new. It was obvious he was also upset, but it didn't stop Iris from trying to assist him.]

Oh, excuse me... Did you need any assistance?

[ Since her friends have left, and Polka was now effectively alone, with only Foot to keep her company, Polka is in the need of groceries. She passes right on by the other man - then pauses and glances back because that is New Feather attire. And he looked kind of unhappy. ]

... excuse me, are you all right...?

[Upset is an understatement, but that's also Ikki's general mood so it's nothing really to worry about. He is obviously wary of her, nothing personal, but he's not outright defensive or aggressive either.]

Can you tell me what's this place?

[For shame, 90s hair. For shame. That said, she taps a finger on her lips before-] Well... it's called Luceti. Have you heard of that?

[Ikki pauses in his way and looks at her, obviously wary. This one's Cosmos feels really big and despite it not being aggressive or even really active at the moment, its size is enough to worry. Still, he can't feel an evil intent on her, quite the contrary, it almost reminds him of Saori's Cosmos when she doesn't use it.]

No, I'm not. What's this place?

[Ikki snorts lightly.]

No, I haven't. I'm not from this dimension so I'm not familiar with it.

[That answer decides it quickly for him, unless she's lying his suspicion on being in a different dimension from his own is confirmed. There's no place on the world he knows called "Luceti" and as one of Athena's Saints he's pretty familiar with all the hidden places on it. That coupled with how he can't find even a faint trace of his brother's Cosmos...]

[...Wow. She blinks and claps her hands together looking at him with something like admiration-] Wow, you already knew it was like that?

It's not my first time ending in another dimension. [Though technically back then they were trapped in a space between dimensions.] Besides, I can't find a trace of my brother's existence here.

[He narrows her eyes at her.] You talk as if it's normal for people to come from other dimensions.

[ She smiles faintly. ] It's called Luceti. Um..

[ She considers - how to explain. ] Basically it's a place that ... a lot of people from different places have been brought, by people called the Malnosso.

[She smiled as best she could and did her best to explain the current situation to him.]

It's a place called Luceti. [Although explaining in more detail would lead to not so pleasant news.] Once you are here, unfortunately you cannot leave on your own means.

[He didn't ask what it was called. However her explanation is closer to what he looked for... And at the same time far different from what he expected.]

You mean that people are pulled out from their dimensions to this one?

[He frowns, "Malnosso", that's definitively not the name of a God.]

[He nods, it's almost as if he expected that or already knew it. In some way he did.]

I noticed that already, this is not my original dimension either. Do you know to where should I go to contact someone to get me back to my dimension?

[He's almost expecting to be told to go to a temple and/or in a quest to do something before he can get the help to return. It doesn't please him but without the Gold Saints there's nothing else he can do other than go with the flow for now.]

Yes, that's right. A lot of people who have been brought here refer to this place as a prison ... seeing as there doesn't appear to be any way of leaving. At least not voluntarily.

[Ikki's not happy. He's not unfamiliar with being in a place similar to a prison, unable to leave on his own. But back then he didn't have a time limit to worry about, he didn't have things to do, there weren't people depending on him.]

Is that the situation for everyone here? The whole village?

[ A lot of people weren't happy about it either. ]

Yes, or at least all of the people in the village who I've talked to anyway.

I suppose those Malnosso you mentioned aren't... Easy to reach, right?

[Where "easy to reach" means "easy to find and kick in their asses until they beg for mercy and return everyone to their dimension before killing them so it doesn't happen again". Normally one would need some experience dealing with Ikki to get that but just from his tone the general intention can be noticed.]

Oh... No, I'm afraid not. [ Sometimes they just come and take you, but Polka hasn't experienced that yet herself. ] I'm sure if you ask over the journal, someone might have an idea of how to contact them - there must be some way.

Oh, and there's a guide that's been put together by a woman named Raine. I think she's been here for a long time, and she's been quite thorough about putting together what newcomers may need to know.

[He blinks at that and arches an eyebrow.]

What journal?

[ Eh? Polka tilts her head, and then juggles the bags in her hands for a moment, so she can get at the journal she'd tucked inside one. ]

When we're brought here, we usually have two things. Our clothing - or a substitute pair until we can get to the store for it - and a journal. Like this. [ She produces said book. ] It allows us to communicate with everyone else here.

[The lack of his Phoenix Cloth had alarmed him too but since he could feel it around it didn't become a first priority. He didn't expect it to be a side effect of being brought there thought.

He frowns at the book.]

Tch... I think I saw one like that when I woke up.

[He crosses his arms, now he has to go back his way and try to find that book? Awesome.]

So I'm supposed to have that book on the whole time?

Well... it is a good idea to keep it with you. But it has a habit of turning up wherever you are anyway. [ It's a stalker. ] Did you leave it behind?
