[She knew how he felt about his birthday which was one reason she left him the message. Even if she knew that his greatest desire was to go and get drunk on this day, a part of her wishes that he wouldn't.

Leanne blinks as he own devices rings with his number as she was heading to work. She honestly wasn't expecting it and was surprise to see it. She pauses in her travel in order to answer it.]

Darling? Of course I would love to go on one! Where shall we meet?

[But then a thought goes through her mind.]

Are you sure you want to do this, Darling?

[She knows what he usually prefers doing during this time. Or at least remembers however vaguely.]

Kidnap my own wife from her workday and spend the day with just her? Sure, I would want that.

[He can always get drunk another day. Or he can do as he did for years and just ignore the day, don't acknowledge it as special because getting drunk is still a way to point out that the day affects him.]

[And really, in his current life, should he still let the day to affect him as much? Will he still be affected by it once how he figures how to go to Leanne's world and be with her?]

[No. He refuses to allow that bastard to have such an effect even worlds apart. So he will be a man and he will swallow the childish reactions and face what he hates face on.]

I'm not going to celebrate anyone's birthday. But I can celebrate a day that my wife likes if she wants to.

And I could just get drunk with you at my side still, there's hardly better company around.

[She giggles at his words and goes to slowly nod her head, even though he cannot see it.]

It almost sounds like you have planned this.

[She teases a little, trying to lighten his mood a little bit more. She goes to let out a contented sigh.]

Then I guess I have no choice but to comply with my mate's wishes. Shall I meet you at home or do you have a better spot for me to come and meet you?

[This day and that human has affected him greatly and she knows it wouldn't be easy to let go. She couldn't let go of the death of her clan until she saw there were other survivors.]

I would love to, if only because it is your day of birth and because of it, I now have the most loving mate in any of the worlds.

Just don't get too drunk. I won't be able to carry you home.

[A soft snort.]

[He could say that he's a quick planner. Or lie and claim that he had planned it for days but she knows him too much to be fooled. And he loves her too much to try such a pathetic lie.]

Let's go to Fayren, you know the place more than me, choose wherever you want. I'll meet you there.

I make no promises on my drunkness. You could always just leave me there for the night if I go over the line.

[She giggles.]

Well, that could be considered planned, especially if you are either brother Ace or brother Marco.

[Yeah, she would most likely call him out if he told her he had been planning it for days. She smiles even more and lets out another sigh to let him know of her current mood.]

Okay, I will meet you by the gate to the Everglades.

[She goes to let out a small scoff sound at his comment of leaving him there should he cross the line.]

Darling, you know that I won't leave you, even if for the night. If you start drinking too much, I may have to take it away and drink it myself.

I suppose that means I'm a planning master, then.

[He chuckles at her scoffing sound.]

That also is a good idea, but what would your friends say if they saw the Heron Queen all drunk and rolling on the ground with an unworthy beorc?

Aye, that means you are a master planner, Darling.

I think they wouldnt mind it at all. They know you are my mate. My husband. I can hold my liquor a lot better than when I was younger.

Guess that's a plan then, nothing better than to get drunk with the best company one can have.

[Though at the moment he really doesn't feel like drinking when she's there. But who knows how he will feel after awhile.

For now he makes his way to the gate, carrying the basket prepared for the picnic.]

Yes, that sounds like a plan then. But only if you truly need to drink and not before then.

[She will hope that he won't need to drink. She would rather have him sober and she prays that one day, he will see this day the way she sees it.

Leanne flares her wings and starts to fly back towards Fayren. She has a lot more gates to go through than Ikki but she does have flight on her side. It took her a few moments before she finally enters Fayren again. A part of her still greatly desired to live here over their current home but it was not her place to pick their home.

She goes to softly land before deciding to make the rest of the trek on foot. It will be easier to preen herself, walking than flying afterall.]

[Ikki will be sitting somewhere while he waits, he knows that she has a longer way there than he did and he's not in any hurry. Neither to celebrate nor to get drunk.

In all honestly, right now he just would prefer to ignore the day. Have it be a normal day, nothing to celebrate or get drunk about. This is why he misses Ace, because he understood and any celebration made wasn't because "it was his birthday" but simply as it would be any other day. No need to go "thank you for being born" or anything like that which only threw salt to any wounds that tried to heal.

The only good thing of this day was that once it was over he wouldn't have to deal with it for a whole year.

He pushes all that to the back of his mind, though, hoping that being with Leanne will be enough to distract him. And that she won't try to bring it up in any way. All he wants to do is just spend a relaxing day with her, it's not that much to ask for.]

[She knew that he wasn't much into celebrations, especially when it came to himself. Which is why she will only say those things once to him.

It took her a bit to find him sitting down. Leanne smiles before using her powers to try and read him, trying to pick up his current mood. She was happy that he wanted to spend the day with her but... Did he truly wanted to? Or was he doing it just to make her happy.]

Were you waiting long for me, Darling?

[She greeted him, leaning over to kiss his head.]

What did you make?

[He wants to make her happy, because that makes him happy as well. And if he's going to be an asshole and get drunk, he may as well at least first try to distract himself in other ways, specially if it's spending time with her.]

Not at all, did you come here in a hurry? I would have waited for you as long as you wanted, you know.

[He stands up to meet her and kisses her in return before looking at the basket.]

Nothing fancy, wouldn't suit a picnic. And don't worry, there's no meat.

Yes, I did. It's not everyday that my handsome mate wanted to steal me away from work.

[She chirps happily at the kiss, gaining a loving expression on her face.]

You could have eat meat for yourself, silly. I know a good spot near a boulder.

You didn't need to hurry, though. It's healthy to make your husband wait for you every now and then, wouldn't want me to believe that I can just have you whenever I want, right?

[A soft hum.]

I know, but I didn't feel like eating meat myself.

No, I wouldnt but who is to say that I dont want to see my husband just as much as he wants me.

[So she is just gonna give him more kisses.]
