[The feed starts with a barking wolf cub staring at the open journal on the floor. The image isn't clear but it seems as if the book has fell. The animal paws all over it, sniffing at it before it starts to bite it and tear pages out as if it was a chewing toy.

At least until Ikki spots his pet. Two hands grab the animal, holding it in the air and shifting to hold it as a baby before he recovers the journal and puts it on the table.]

Stupid animal, what part of this does look like a boot?!

[He shakes the wolf lightly, but all he gets in response to the scolding is a bark and a lick on the face.]

Whatever... Can't believe it'll soon be a year since you're here. Guess it was time you broke something for real.

[Ikki looks at the journal, checking it.]

Is this still working or I'm going to have to find a mechanic? Or whoever would fix this book, I don't think a librarian would do.

[He didn't really like them per say. And he just doubts a computer really is that useful. He's curious though.]

Sure, if you want. Oi, do you know of any veterinarian? Or a doctor capable to handle an animal.

I'm familiar with the physicians, but for an animal...

[She's done a looot of reading up on turtle anatomy and body systems. But that won't help with Smoker, either.]

Hyoga has a problem with his teeth, one of them hasn't fallen yet the new one is growing, but since there's no space it's doing so at an odd angle. That may be why he's lately so bad with chewing things.

[That's no good! Even she, not a dentist, knows that.]

I'm no dentist, but... That tooth needs to be corrected. [Having it pulled would be bad for letting them eat and catch prey, if they're talking about an animal still.] I don't know what resources we have for orthodontics, though.

First we will have to take out the one that didn't fall... I think. Maybe then the other would grow naturally.

... I have considered grabbing some pincers and taking that one out myself.

But without it... what about being able to catch prey? Or eat properly?

Isn't that what the other tooth would be there for? The one I want to take out is his last puppy tooth, like a kid who loses his baby teeth.

It's a moot argument anyway, if we can't find someone who could do it properly.

I'm fine. [Always her answer, but she means it so much more with Usagi nearby, even if it comes with the difficulty of protecting her - and deciding how much to say.] Maybe looking forward to the holidays.
