[Morning - early afternoon]

[Luceti is just a village, surrounded by a forest full with animals, so it may not be a surprise for some to see a small wolf pup, little over a year old, wandering around the village. Or maybe it can be a surprise since the animal is all alone. At any rate, Hyoga, will be sniffing at everything and everyone, using all his tracking talents to find a certain person, though if he meets with anyone whose scent he knows the animal may give it a try to drag them with him to Ikki's apartment. The wolf pup is rather insistent and seems to have a huge sense of urgency, as if he's terribly worried...

Eventually, though, the animal will find House 15, where his target now resides. Hopefully none of the people living there will mind the howling and barking wolf pup at their door until the door gets open for him or Selphie appears, somehow. Again there's a certain sense of urgency and insistence in the animal, this may not be a game for him after all.]

[Late afternoon - night]

[Later in the afternoon, after a talk with Selphie, Ikki will be hitting the Good Spirits bar. Apparently trying to check how much alcohol he needs to drink before he gets intoxicated, he will be there until someone drags him away or he's kicked out of the bar. Fortunately despite his intents he's a slow drinker so his life isn't in danger.

That doesn't mean he may end at the wrong place because he's too drunk to remember where his apartment is.]

((OOC: Feel free to meet Hyoga and be dragged to Ikki's apartment, specially if you've CR with him already, but even if not the animal would probably end guiding them there if anyone asks what's wrong. Selphie's thread will be the last one chronologically for that part. For the next part, your character can meet Ikki as he makes his way to the bar, when he's on it or when he's trying to return home, be warned that his grade of coherency may not be high in the last situation.))

Hmm, it's.. okay.. [ She seems to be repeating it to herself as if she's trying to convince herself of it more than anything else, and she's still staying that close near him as if it's her own way of clinging on to him without actually clinging. It seems to make her feel a bit better, either way, and she's slowly calming down. ]

Ikki-kun is okay, I'm okay too, and.. there's no fire. .. No bad kind of fire.

[ She nods, even if it's still a little faintly. That doesn't mean she's moving away again just yet, though. Clearly you just gained +1 puppy, Ikki. ]

[It seems like it. Well, he won't complain this time and will let her be there like that as much as she wants, in silence. It's better than to talk after all, isn't it? Hyoga will cling to Kotomi as well, nuzzling her. Clinging train?]

[ Kotomi is totally okay with the clinging train. Seriously, she sits there for a literal few minutes, completely still, as if she's content with just that.

It's not until after those few moments that she turns to look at Hyoga instead, since.. well, she hadn't really had the chance to ask about him yet.. ]

Ikki-kun.. Is this little one your pet?

[At least her being there makes it hard for him to get in trail with his previous thoughts. Specially since he doesn't want to scare her again, it's annoying and she doesn't really deserve it. He blinks and looks at both Kotomi and Hyoga when she asks.]

Yeah, that's Hyoga. I told him to find someone to take care for him for a while but apparently he decided that meant "bring someone here".

Oh.. [ For a few moments more she's quiet again, her gaze trailing from Ikki to Hyoga and then back and forth a few times, as if she's trying to consider something in all her quiet slowness. ]

... I think he was trying to help you out, Ikki-kun. He must have thought you needed someone to be there.. maybe.

I know that, but he didn't bother to think if I wanted someone to be here. I don't need help.

You don't.. want me to be here right now, Ikki-kun?

[ her expression drops just slightly - slightly, since it's hard to tell with her hardly ever changing expression. ]

I talked in past sense. Never said anything about now.

[Don't you dare to move from here now, girl. Besides he needs someone.]

[ Hey, Kotomi is not good at reading what people really want or their true intentions, okay. Queen of taking everything at face value. But he isn't telling her to leave, so.. staying here should be okay, right? ]

In that case.. I'd like to stay with Ikki-kun for a bit now. We're.. friends, after all, right? You shouldn't abandon friends. I'm sure Hyoga-kun thought the same.

[As if she could leave, ahahaha, okay she probably could. Ikki's not good at expressing what he really wants or needs, or even accepting it himself for starters.]

Good. Then just stay, if that's what you want... You don't need to call him Hyoga-kun, he's just a wolf.

[ It's okay, she's definitely staying here for a bit now! She's comfortable like this on the floor, even, it's perfect. ]

But Hyoga-kun is my friend too now. ... Right, Hyoga-kun? [ yes, she's just talking to the wolf pup now.. ]

[Hyoga tilts his head and moves his tail happily in response.]

I know, but if a guy named Hyoga ever comes here you'll have problems differentiating them. Though that's probably never going to happen.

[ Kotomi just smiles at the pup for a few moments before slowly turning her head back to Ikki. ]

It's not a problem at all. I can call them Hyoga-kun 1 and Hyoga-kun 2. [ pointing towards Hyoga now. ] Hyoga-kun here is Hyoga-kun 1, since he came first.

... Isn't it easier to just don't call him -kun?

But.. if I won't call Hyoga-kun Hyoga-kun, it'll be like we aren't friends at all. I like Hyoga-kun being Hyoga-kun.

[ she's smiling, half obliviously to the weird logic. just let her have her fun.. ]

Then call him -chan. I don't think friends work that way, though.

Huh.. I like Hyoga-kun more, though..

I like to call boys -kun, like Tomoya-kun. And girls -chan, like Nagisa-chan and Fuuko-chan. It's easier to keep them apart then.

I would think the names themselves make it easy to tell them apart.

[ You make a good point, Ikki, but Kotomi is completely and obliviously distracted already, instead looking around the room curiously. Her gaze falls on the plushies. ]

... What are those..?

I didn't imagine Ikki-kun would like plushies this much..
